The Lower Mainland Synchronized Skating Teams have been in existence for over 20 years, and have accomplished an almost flawless record of Gold Medals. LMSSC is located in Surrey, British Columbia. The 4 festival teams skate at Newton Arena, and Fleetwood Sports and Leisure and complex. LMSSC gives skaters of all ages, opportunities to be part of a hard working team to learn about the spirit of sportsmanship, confidence, and dedication.

Synchronized skating is the fastest growing discipline in figure skating. Synchro started in 1838, in Oxford England. The sport, as we know it today started in 1954. In 1983, Canada held its first official national championships. Skaters of today, hope the the sport will be introduced into the Olympics in the near future!
